Uporablja se, za zmanj\u0161anje mo\u017enosti ponovitve raka. Lahko se uporablja tudi za zdravljenje raka, ki se je po zdravljenju ponovno pojavil ali raz\u0161iril. Hormonsko terapijo prejemajo \u017eenske z rakom, ki je ob\u010dutljiv na hormone ali odvisen od njih. S to vrsto zdravljenja lahko rak upo\u010dasnimo ali zaustavimo njegovo rast.    <\/p><ol><li>a) zni\u017eanjem ravni hormonov v telesu ali<\/li><li>b) zmanj\u0161anjem sposobnosti rakavih celic, da se odzivajo na hormone, in z zaustavitvijo njihove rasti.<\/li><\/ol><p>Nekateri od teh hormonov so enaki hormonom, ki so potrebni za plodnost. Zato lahko zdravljenje vpliva na va\u0161o sposobnost zanositve in rojstva otroka. Zgoraj navedeni hormoni lahko povzro\u010dijo neredne menstruacije ali njihovo prenehanje. Menstruacije se lahko ponovno pojavijo nekaj mesecev po prenehanju terapije. Hormonska terapija sama po sebi ni \u0161kodljiva za jaj\u010dnike, zato naj bi se menstruacija vrnila nekaj mesecev po prenehanju terapije. \u010ce se vam menstruacija po hormonski terapiji ne povrne, je to lahko posledica u\u010dinkov drugega zdravljenja, kot je kemoterapija, ki ste jo morda imeli.     <\/p><p>\u010ce je hormonska terapija del va\u0161ega zdravljenja, vam odsvetujemo
