Pu\u00f2 essere somministrata esternamente, attraverso una macchina che dirige raggi invisibili verso il corpo, o internamente, attraverso minuscoli impianti radioattivi nel corpo (brachiterapia). <\/p><p>Il fatto che la radioterapia influisca o meno sulla fertilit\u00e0 dipende dalla sua posizione (vicinanza alle ovaie, all\u2019utero o al cervello) e dalla dose.<\/p><ul><li>Alte dosi di radioterapia alle ovaie potrebbero danneggiare le uova all\u2019interno e possono quindi portare a insufficienza ovarica prematura (POI).<\/li><li>Radioterapia all\u2019utero pu\u00f2 causare futuri aborti spontanei, nascite premature e neonati di basso peso alla nascita.<\/li><li>Nel caso in cui la radioterapia venga somministrata al cervello, potrebbe influenzare la ghiandola pituitaria. Ci\u00f2 potrebbe interferire con il funzionamento dei segnali ormonali che regolano l\u2019uso degli ovuli rimasti nell\u2019ovaie. <\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-17a95cb e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"17a95cb\"
