Elle provoque souvent des effets secondaires sur les cellules saines du corps et peut affecter la fertilit\u00e9 d\u2019une femme. Elle peut endommager ses ovaires et diminuer le nombre d\u2019ovules (r\u00e9serve ovarienne) dont elle dispose.  <\/p><p>L&rsquo;effet de la chimioth\u00e9rapie sur la fertilit\u00e9 d\u00e9pend :<\/p><ul><li>Du type de m\u00e9dicaments qui vous sont administr\u00e9s.<\/li><li>De la dose et de la dur\u00e9e du traitement.<\/li><li>De la combinaison de m\u00e9dicaments qui vous sera administr\u00e9e.<\/li><li>De votre \u00e2ge et de votre fertilit\u00e9 ant\u00e9rieure.<\/li><\/ul><p>La chimioth\u00e9rapie peut endommager les ovaires et les ovules d\u2019une femme. Cela signifie que le cycle menstruel d\u2019une femme peut souvent s\u2019arr\u00eater ou devenir irr\u00e9gulier pendant la chimioth\u00e9rapie. Cela peut aller de quelques mois \u00e0 un an ou plus. Plus vous \u00eates jeune lors de votre traitement de chimioth\u00e9rapie (surtout si vous avez moins de 35 ans), plus il est probable que vos r\u00e8gles reviennent naturellement. Le nombre d\u2019ann\u00e9es pendant lesquelles vous \u00eates fertile peut \u00eatre r\u00e9duit. La possibilit\u00e9 de concevoir n\u2019est pas garantie m\u00eame lors du retour de vos r\u00e8gles.    <\/p><h4>Permanentes<\/h4><p>Si les modifications du cycle menstruel sont permanentes, cela signifie que vos r\u00e8gles ne reviendront pas apr\u00e8s le traitement anticanc\u00e9reux et que la m\u00e9nopause commence. Les femmes de plus de 35 ans sont plus susceptibles d\u2019\u00eatre infertiles apr\u00e8s leur traitement anticanc\u00e9reux.
